To be honest, I didn’t find anything very special with this drama. But with all dramas that I watch, if I see the first season of it, I will also see any other seasons and specials that comes afterwards. For the full synopsis check out:

This drama came out near the end of 2006 andI think it’s pretty good. The story line is nothing special but nonetheless still pretty good. Here is the synopsis taken from Drama Wiki.

Based on a popular manga, Minami (Ito Misaki) is a single 28-year-old office worker in an advertising office. She’s very work-oriented and her love is doubted by her boyfriend. One day, she meets Yuya (Kamenashi Kazuya), who is a part-time worker at her company.”

Here’s another treat for all Densha Otoko fans! These 2 specials were aired after the series was finished and are worth watching.

The Deluxe Special takes place 1 year after the events in the series when Densha Otoko is well known and Akihabara became a very popular attraction to the general public. A corporation in Akihabara wants to find out who is Densha Otoko and offers 1 million yen to anybody who discovers him. Tsuyoshi is trying his best to keep Saori and his identity a secret.

Another Finale has to do with Densha’s friend Matsunaga Yusaku (Gekidan Hitori) and Saori’s friend Mizuki Hiroko (Sudo Risa). Yusaku is also known as the Guitar Otoko on 2channel after he’s been cheated into buying a guitar from someone that he thought loved him but was only after some money.

Will Tsuyoshi and Saori have their secret exposed? How will Guitar Otoko’s story end? Watch and find out!

Another great drama  that came out in 2005! Based on the best selling book of the same name Densha Otoko is about an otaku named Yamada Tsuyoshi (Itoh Atsushi) who saved a pretty lady named Aoyama Saori (Itoh Misaki) on the train from a groper.

After the event, Saori asked Tsuyoshi for his adress so she could send him a gift in appreciation for what he had done. Saori sent him a pair or expensive Hermes tea cups and Tsuyoshi thought that it was a little too much just to say thank you and figures there is a deeper meaning behind it.

Despite him being an otaku Tsuyoshi decided to call Saori and ask her out on a date and was estatic to hear her say yes. The problem is Tsuyoshi never had any experience with women before and was unsure of what to do. Clueless as he was he turned to his friends on 2channel for help. How will this relationship turn out? Tune in to find out!
