Slow Dance came out a little over 4 years ago back in 2005. This is another drama that features Ryoko Hirosue as one of the main female characters. Unfortunately though, even with Ryoko in it I can’t say it’s exactly a 5-star drama. Ryoko has been in much better dramas such as Summer Snow but if you’re someone who must see every drama that she’s ever been in then this one is for you. For the full synopsis check out:

Great Teacher Onizuka, aka GTO, came out in 1998 and is based on a manga and anime series with the same name. It is also the sequel to the manga Shonan Love Gang.

GTO is another school drama that is very much like Gokusen. Both teachers in those series have deliquent students who they need to set straight. Both teachers have some kind of gang related background. The main difference is that one’s male and one’s female. ^_^

This drama was actually pretty successful. A special was released for this series as well as a movie. For the full synopsis check out:

This drama is based on the true story of a little girl with spinocerebellar degeneration. The actress that plays her part is Erika Sawajiri (Ikeuchi Aya) and it shows how she deals with the disease and everyday life. This drama wasn’t that bad. There’s also a special that follows the series that will be up soon!

This special wraps things up! It takes place 1 year after the events in the series and it starts off in Hawaii where Eri and Tsuru are to be married. The problem though is that the bride is missing! Ken gets another chance to go back in time to try and tell Tsuru about the wedding and find out why it happened!

The titles says it all! Hana Yori Dango Movie is now online! BOTH the theatrical and the Director’s cut version is now available. Also like the series it’s not exactly my favorite movie of all time but if you’re a fan of HanaDan then this is for you!

This drama revolves around the relationship of the two main characters Iwase Ken (Yamashita Tomohisa) and Yoshida Rei (Nagasawa Masami). Ken has always loved Rei since she was little but throughout his life he was never able to tell her his true feelings.

Unfortunately, as the two got older Rei fell in love with her professor, Tada Tetsuya (Fujiki Naohito), and they are engaged to get married. Ironically enough, Ken was the person chosen to give a speech at their wedding.

After the speech there was a slideshow presentation playing and while watching it Ken was wishing that he could relive his life and tell Rei how he really felt. Seeing how Ken was so full of regrets, the fairy of the church (Mikami Hiroshi) appeared and granted his wish. Ken was now able to return back in time to the moment displayed in the slideshow to hopefully change his future for the better.
