EasyDrama + Company

Hey everyone! I apologize that I wasn’t able to get anything done with JIN 2 this semester. I ultimately decided to drop it due to a lack of time. With that said, EasyDrama will be officially going into hiatus mode as of today with no further series on the schedule at the moment. I got a few years left with college and I probably won’t be able to make any substantial update until I’m done. Despite that, I will try to keep the site up and running with my current budget seeing that there are still quite a few visitors on a daily basis. I hope you will still continue to visit EasyDrama and keep up the good work with informing me about errors on the site. It’s not easy running a site with a staff of one and I really do appreciate all of the help in keeping things error-free! For those new to Jdrama, I hope that you find this site a good place to get you started with this genre! ^_^

Hey everyone, the school semester just started this week for me and I don’t think I will have much time to continue working on EasyDrama in the future between school and work for awhile. Don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere but I just wanted to let everyone know why there hasn’t been any new updates lately. To be honest, I haven’t even had the chance to finish watching JIN 2 yet. I think that series will be our final encode before we enter hiatus mode lol. I’ve been looking to make this series our first 10-bit encode but I’m still reading and looking things over since 10-bit is relatively new and I have never used it before. Most likely, the encode won’t be out until sometime in September. No guarantees but I will definitely try my best though.

Happy Independence Day to everyone in States!!! I apologize for the mega fail in getting this out last month =’( I just had so much to do that I wasn’t able to get this out in time. Anyways, blogginpig provided the subs to this series and I’ve made some updates and corrections to them.

About JIN 2, the series finished airing last week and Heiwa Fansubs finished the subs as well. They usually do a pretty good job at subbing so I’m just gonna make an HD encode and upload the subtitles separately for everyone to download. I don’t wanna get anyone’s hopes up but I’m aiming to get the videos encoded and released sometime this month. In the meantime, I hope you guys enjoy this series!!!

With school starting up and everything, I just didn’t have the chance to finish off that other series that was suppose to be released by the end of last month. The summer semester is shorter but, that means that more work is packed into that allotted time. Despite that, I am still working on the surprise series and will try and get it out within a reasonable amount of time (no more than a week hopefully). I apologize to those who were waiting. I’m usually very good with sticking to a schedule but, I am only one person and there is only so much that I can do. It will be definitely be released sometime this month, for real this time.

Hey everyone, as many of you might already know. I currently go to school in a semi-isolated-semi-nonisolated part of Florida where not many language classes are offered. Awhile back, I was planning on subbing URAKARA since momoflower has been missing in action for quite some time but, I was sadly lacking in the ability to translate the Korean parts of this Japanese drama, and unfortunately, Korean is not one of the classes offered at my school lol.

Professor Oh was the fellow colleague that I was referring to who was willing to tackle this project with me despite her busy schedule. What is she busy doing? Ironically, making Korean lesson videos on youtube that I’ve been following trying to learn the language, that’s what lol! Her videos are quite good and entertaining actually and you really do pick up a lot from them. With that said, check them out if you’re looking for aweome Korean lesson videos!!

For those who were wondering, yes, I am currently working on the second surprise jdrama that will be release later this month. I don’t think I will be able to finish until next week since the summer semester has already started and I have quite a lot of work to do but, it everything is still on schedule and it should be done by the end of the month ^_^b

Here it is everyone, the first of the two promised series that will be released this month. I know this series finished airing back in December of 2009 but I never had the chance to watch it until now and, I have to say, it is definitely one of the best jdramas to be released in my opinion. You can find the synopsis here if you interested in reading it, but believe me, it is much better than it sounds lol.

A few things to know about this release:

1) They were made using the 1080p RAWS uploaded by mikajin over at D-Addicts

2) There will be some noticeable blockiness and other errors in some episodes, especially during dark scenes or scene changes, but they are present in the RAWS too so there is nothing that can be done about it.

3) The audio in episode 8 and 9 will noticeably go out of sync near the end of the episode but, for the most part, everything is fine. These are present in the original too. I could split the video (and hope that mkvtoolnix will split it exactly where I need it since exact frame splitting can’t be done without re-encoding) and figure out the correct delay value (for every single part that been split) and rejoin everything but, it is just too time consuming.

4) I asked Heiwa Fansubs for the their permission to use these subs but have yet to get a reply. Regardless, I added their group name to encode as well. If they wish for the subs to be removed in the future, I will gladly do so and just make it available as a separate download. I used the 720p subs but, some parts still needed to be re-timed and only minor grammar corrections were made.

5) Enjoy! I plan to do an encode for some episodes of season 2 of JIN sometime in the future as well (in ADDITION to the other drama that will be released this month if I get the chance ^_^)

Hey everyone! Like the title says I hope that everybody is enjoying their day today. For those who’ve been asking about momoflower and URAKARA subs, I honestly don’t know what to say. When I messaged her last month asking if she needed help with the subs, she said she had everything under control and would start working on them soon. That’s all I can say about that.

BUT, for those who don’t already know, Karaholic, an international fan site dedicated to KARA, has subbed up to episode 9 already ^_^ The catch is that you must be a registered member and have made 40 posts in the forums (or make a donation) to enter the Sweet Melodix Mediabox where they can be directly downloaded. I’m going to ask the admins over there for permission if I can take them outside of KH and make them available on here as well but, if not, you’ll just have to do one of the above or wait for momoflower to release them.

Also, don’t worry. I haven’t forgotten about those 2 dramas that I promised to be released this month. I’m hoping to get one series done within the coming week and the next a week or two later. What are they? You’ll just have to wait and see =)

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their holiday off today if they don’t have to work. I’ve been so busy last weekend (EasyDrama’s anniversary) that I totally didn’t have time to even make a post about it!! >_< Luckily, I don’t have work today so I’d thought I would give everyone a little update about what’s been going on.

I’m currently preparing for my finals that are going to take place within the next two week so there won’t be any new releases until May BUT, I guarantee at LEAST two new series will be up next month ^_^b Besides that, it’s just regular site maintenance as usual. As always thanks to everyone that reported broken download links to me. I really appreciate the help in keeping the site error-free so keep up the good work!

Well, it seems that the digest video and the other SP were actually considered part of the series after all since this week’s episode is the last one lol. Since that is the case, I went back and renamed the download link to their matching episode number BUT all original file names that the were originally used on D-Addicts remains the same.

I am currently in the process of obtaining the batch upload (which has been renamed accordingly) and will replace the ones currently available for download with them later (ex. Ep. 5 SP will now be Ep. 6 SP and so on). I’m not sure if they are completely different encodes or if they are just the same files renamed but I’ll check it later when the torrent finishes.

Update: All of the links now correspond to the videos found in the batch file. Most of the files were the exact same except #1, 2, and 5. I would download these newer episodes and rename the rest of the episodes accordingly depending on which file you downloaded.

In other news, momoflower is back ^_^ Due to the high number of requests for this series, I was actually planning on taking up subbing it with a fellow colleague of mine but it seems that there is no need for it anymore. Her laptop is now fixed so expect subs to be coming in the near future ^_^b Besides that, a short preview clip and the NG Cut is now online as well! Enjoy!

I was recently informed by Yoo from Karaholics that cherrims was actually the original creator of the subs so I decided to do a v2 and fix things. Besides editing the credits and a little re-timing, I just took away some capitalizations and exclamation marks where they didn’t seem to fit in as well as a little grammar correction. I used a higher quality source this time around so the encode should look a little nicer too. Enjoy!
