Drama Made Easy was created with the intention to spread the love of Jdrama far and wide and to share it with people from all over the world. I am busy college student with a full-time job and I solely maintain this blog in my spare time, or what little of it ^_^.
I created this site as an alternative to sites like DramaCrazy or MySoju for people to watch Jdrama and unlike those sites I don’t provide links to dramas that are streamed online. Instead, I provide links to direct downloads of the dramas for people to watch.
Why do I do this? For one reason, most fansubbers request that their work not be streamed on any video sharing site and I try my best to respect their wishes. Secondly, most of the dramas that are streamed online are of low quality and doesn’t even come close to the original fansub. Doing this also helps prevent people from buying pirated fansubs on Ebay because they can’t find any other way of getting fansubs.
I myself do not support piracy and I try my best to not upload any dramas that are licensed in U.S. where I live. If I do by any chance, I would appreciate it if someone would let me know using the Contact page and provide a link showing that it has been licensed and I will promptly remove it.
I get most of my dramas from torrents found on the fansubbers’s site or from D-addicts, one of the biggest drama sites around. D-addicts is a great place to get all your drama needs whether it be Japanese, Korean, or Chinese and I recommend that you get yours there too if possible. Unfortunately, D-addicts only use torrents for most of their downloads and for those who live in dorms or do not have access to router port configurations won’t be able to download from them.
Fortunately for those users, Drama Made Easy uses direct downloads and in those cases I recommend you get your dramas here ^_^. If there’s a certain drama that you want to see that is not available here then please by all means feel free to send me an email and request it! As long as it’s not licensed in the U.S. I will try my best to make it available.
Drama Made Easy is still relatively new and I am planning to add more in the coming months. I hope everyone enjoys their time here and if you do please spread the word!
