EasyDrama + Company

Some users have emailed me about some video stuttering problems in this series a few weeks back and I decided to redo the encoding for the whole season to fix the problem. The only episode that wasn’t re-encoded was episode 9 because I know for a fact that it was encoded properly and no stuttering is present in that episode. I’m going to continue EasyDrama’s subbing plan for May in June as well so expect a few more V2′s on the way. Besides that, I’m going to try and get a few more new series up as well as soon as I get approval to use their subtitles ^_^

Nodame Cantabile is a great drama that is also a manga and an anime as well. The SD version by SARS is also online for those with slower computers that aren’t capable of playing HD video. I’ve sent siantut a subtitle use request awhile back but still haven’t received a response yet but decided to go ahead with it anyway. There is already an HD version out there that was created by J-TV but their file size is quite big and the torrents are no longer active with enough seeders.

The subs by siantut aren’t perfect and I haven’t had the time to go over and watch the whole series to make sure everything is correct but the subs are still usable and anyone with common sense SHOULD be able to put 2 and 2 together and follow the story without any problems lol. I also plan to make the two specials (2007 version, not 2009) available sometime later this week but I’m still waiting for a reply for permission to use those subs as well.

It’s been a few weeks since I initially contacted frowndog for permission to use this sub but I have yet to receive a response. A few days has passed since the series was released so I thought I would go ahead and release the special as well. If frowndog later contacts me and ask for the subs to be removed then I will make the video and sub available as separate files.

As promised, Proposal Daisakusen is now online! The SP was subbed by frowndog and I’m still waiting on a response for that before I make it available. Besides lunargen, Marianna, w3bhead, and thekaje contributed to the early episodes of these subs as well as other aspects of creating the subs. Make sure to say thanks to them over at D-addicts!

Like the title says, episode 8 and 9 are now complete and available for download. Sorry it took a little longer than usual. Subs were done by kakijun from D-Addicts and I’ve made some revisions to them before encoding as well. I hope you enjoy this series and Proposal Daisakusen HD should be online sometime tommorow ^_^

Hey everyone! I’m sorry for the lack of updates during last month! I’ve been busy with finals and hadn’t had much to time to do any video encoding or much time to work on the site at all. kakijun, someone who I’m working with on our BM2 HD encode, was also busy with finals as well but he has recently finished up the remaining sub for the last episode and I will try to finish encoding BM2 HD sometime within a week.

Since finals are now over and since I have about a week of free time (except work), I will also try to release one or two HD series within the next few weeks. One of the series will be Proposal Daisakusen HD with subs by lunargen and the other will be Nodame Cantabile HD with subs by siantut. Following user suggestions, these releases will not be linked using Linkbucks. I originally decided to use Linkbucks to help pay for some of the hosting fee but, even after a year, it hasn’t even generated enough to cover the fee for one month. I know that some of you are tired of having to go through that extra click to download your Jdrama and I am also tired of creating links that aren’t effective in cutting costs. I have decided that using Linkbucks just isn’t worth the time and effort and all future downloads will be directly linked to Megaupload =)

It has been brought to my attention that some of my initial encodes for earlier series have some errors in them (such as video flickering) so this month you will see a lot of V2s of those series being released as well. Those encodes were made in my early encoding days and I know exactly which series are affected and how to fix it. With everything in life, you live and you learn ^_^
