As promised, polls are now officially up and running! I will be holding these polls once a week every week from now on. Things have been keeping me busier than usual these last few week and I couldn’t upload as much as I normally do so I figured I can bring all you readers at least one new drama every week to enjoy.

The polls will end on Sunday at midnight, Eastern Standard Time, and the winning vote will be uploaded the next day. If I have more time during the week I might upload the 2nd or even 3rd place winners for you to watch as well!

Afterward, for the dramas that didn’t make the cut, they will remain on the list for the following week for you to vote on again in addition to the new dramas that will replace the one that have been uploaded. Cast your vote for the drama that want to watch next Monday!

Binbo Danshi literally means Poor Man, and our poor man for this series Koyama Kazumi is played by Oguri Shun. It’s interesting to see Oguri Shun play a role that’s so opposite from his rich son role in Hana Yori Dango. He does a pretty good job in my opinion. Below is the synopsis taken from Tokyograph.

“Koyama Kazumi is a poor but optimistic college student who firmly believing that there are more important things than money. Despite his own poverty he ends up taking on other people’s debts and faces various challenges to pay off those debts.”

UPDATE: Fatcow’s download is still pretty slow and all future downloads will be hosted on Megaupload including MR.BRAIN.

For those who have been following along, you know that I have recently switched to FatCow to host my own blog as well all future downloads. According to FatCow each user should be able to download at 300KB/s from the servers (which is about what I get most of the time). Sometimes though, I drop to 250KB/s and even into the 100s and was wondering if you guys are able to utilize most of the 300KB/s even when I can’t seem to (my line speed is more than capable of 300).

This is very important feedback because this will determine if I continue to use Megaupload instead of FatCow for downloads or switch to another host before FatCow’s 30-day refund expires. Currently Mr. BRAIN is the only drama hosted on their servers if you want to give it a try. I just want to make sure that it’s 300KB per user and not 300KB total for all users connected. It would be pretty crappy for everyone if 10 people are connected and everyone averages 30KB wouldn’t it ^_^ Besides that, FatCow has excellent hosting service and customer support. All feedback is appreciated in confirming this.

MR. BRAIN is Kimura Takuya’s newest drama where he plays the role of Tsukumo Ryusuke. Tsukumo used to be a host club employee until an accident happened and he lost his memory. As a result of the accident, parts of Tsukumo’s brain was damaged and other parts had to compensate for it. The ironic thing is that his brain is actually more active now then it was before the accident.

With his new found intelligent mind he decided to give up being a host and pursue a career as a neuroscientist. A few years later he joins the National Research Institute of Police Science and solves a number of challenging cases with the help of his fellow co-workers and the police. All the while, he tries remember his past self in the process.

Episodes 1-5 are in 720p HD and are hardsubbed By TimeLesSub. Episode 6 is in SD with softsubs and The BONUS episode is in SD and is hardsubbed. Episode 7-8 are RAW and in SD with no english subs currently available.

At this momemt, softsubs are only available up to episode 6. I will upload subtitles for episode 7+8 when it’s available and eventually episode 6-8 will be replaced with TimeLesSub’s HD hardsubs when they are available.

Welcome all fans of Jdrama old and new! Drama Made Easy is now officially online! Previously hosted at ezdrama.wordpress.com, easydrama.com will be the new home of DMEZ from now on ^_^

At first I tried to keep the site’s address as close to the original as possible but it seems that ezdrama.com was already registered with another person so I settled on easydrama.com instead. All of the links have been transfered over from the old blog and everything should work like it always has been.

Downloads are stil hosted at Megaupload for the time being but once they are transfered to the host’s server downloads should be much faster. All future updates will be made here from now on as well.

Whether you have been a long time follower of DMEZ or just happened to stumble upon this page by chance I hope everyone enjoys their time here. Spread the word and invite everyone to come take a look at our new site!

Hi everyone. Just thought I’ll keep you updated with whats been going on during the last few days. I’m on a roll with the status updates aren’t I ^_^

Recently I’ve been thinking about DMEZ and how you are limited with what you can do with a hosted wordpress account. So with the recent paycheck that I received, I thought “I think I’m going to subscribe to a hosting service and host my own blog from now on”. And that’s exactly what I did. Working on the new blog the past few days has kept me busy and I’m sorry for the lack of updates.

A benefit of hosting my own blog now is that downloads will be faster! And when everything is done I won’t need Megaupload any longer! No more typing in verification codes!

When I was shopping around for a hosting service I considered sites such

as GoDaddy and BlueHost but they didn’t have what I wanted at the price I wanted. I needed unlimited hosting space with unlimited bandwidth and I needed it to be affordable for a poor working college student. I found one solution that offered all 3 and the service I am currently using is FatCow.

Never heard of them? Me either before one of my friends mentioned it to me. It turns out that they were listed #1 out of the 10 best hosting services available on the web at roarhosting.com and with unlimited bandwidth and storage for around $60/yr with a free domain name I couldn’t agree more.

This is for all the fans of Case Closed out there! I really liked the series alot when it aired 5 years ago in the states on Cartoon Network. Unfortunately though, the series had to be cancelled due to low ratings. Even so, I’m glad there were live action specials made for it!

The first special features Oguri Shun as Kudo Shinichi (before he became Conan Edogawa) and Kurokawa Tomoka as Mori Ran as they try to figure out who’s behind the kidnapping that’s been taking place.

The second special also features Kashii Yu as Haibara along with Conan as they try to solve a murder mystery and keep Haibara out of harms way.

Today Drama Made Easy is officially 3 months old!!! YAY!!! And since I don’t post a lot of status updates about the site as oppose to drama updates I thought what better day than to do one today!

Why a 3-month anniversary? Well one reason being is that Megaupload only store files from free members for 90 days before deletion and yesterday I decided to go premium! What that means for all you drama fans out there is that the drama is here to stay! And since I’m not limited to 200GB of storage anymore more dramas will be coming your way soon!

Unfortunately, being the poor student that I am I couldn’t afford the $200 lifetime membership and had to settle for the $20 3-month membership ^_^;; However, I’m hoping that within the next 3 months I will be able to purchase a lifetime membership so that the files will always be online for you to enjoy without having to worry about them expiring.

To help me achieve that goal, I’m asking everyone to please spread the word about Drama Made Easy! If you enjoy the contents found on this site and are pretty well off please consider donating to the DMEZ Good Karma Fund! Something that I have noticed in the last 3 months is that even the number of visitors to this site has increased there haven’t been many comments on the posts! Horikita Maki plays the role of the main character in this drama, Chisato, who is a net cafe refugee (someone that is unemployed with no where to live and hops from net cafe to cafe) because of her father’s gambling habit. Unfortunately, Chisato’s mom died while she was still young and her dad abandoned her and is on constantly on the run.

One day while Chisato was being chased by loan sharks, a man named Shinzo appeared from a helicopter offering to settle her debt if she marries him and become the mother of his 6 adopted sons.

All of Shinzo’s sons are handsome but they all have different personalities and don’t see eye to eye. Shinzo is a very wealthy man and he adopted his sons in hopes that they would be the heir to his company one day. How will this story unfold? Watch and find out!
